RED LIP, 3 WAYS
Hi All! I have some exciting news to share with you. I am now writing beauty posts for Bloglovin' The Edit! What an amazing opportunity I have been graced with, and I cannot thank you all enough because without my readers and followers, I never would have been able to pursue this, so here it is one last time before I bore you... THANK YOU!!! I will be adding most of my Bloglovin' articles on SHHALEX, but if you would like to keep up to date visit blog.bloglovin.com.
Lets jump to it! Red lipstick is a classic way to change up any everyday makeup routine. From effortless to dramatic, there are so many ways you can pull off a red lip. Here are three fun, easy looks that anyone can achieve.
Burgundy & Whispy Brows
Use a lightweight foundation as your base. Add some bronzer to the outer perimeter of your face. Brush the brows in an upward motion with some brow gel or hairspray, add a dark lippy and voila!
Tip: mix in some of your favourite liquid highlighter to your foundation to give your skin an all over natural, glowy finish.
Metallic Eye Shadow
Again, this look is very simple and minimal. Use the same process as above but this time add in your favourite metallic eye shadow. I find this look works best with a single colour over the entire lid, blended outwards and up to the brow.
Bright & Naked Eyes
Keep the foundation base light, a tinted moisturiser will be your friend for this look as it will allow your ‘natural blush’ to come through. All that’s left to do is use a bright red lipstick or stain and fill in your brows lightly. Wearing no eye make-up is definitely a trend I am loving right now and it pretty much cuts your getting ready time in half! Double win.
